This is an extremely high
quality set in a very classic pattern and is perfect for
entertaining. The set is in excellent condition with
no cracking on the mother of pearl on the knife handles.
The individual pieces are even more stunning than can be reflected by the
photographs. The set is extremely good value for money and
the forks and spoons bear the Coat of Arms of the Archbishop
and his initials are engraved on the back of the Knife
Handles "JM" - Jerome-Marie Champion de Cice was Archbishop
of Bordeaux from Jan 28, 1781 to October 8, 1801. Each
piece contains the French governments Head of the Minerva-1
Hallmark, signifying a minimum of 950 sterling, along
with the manufacturer's hallmark "H&V". The Set
