This set really is in "near new" condition. The teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and both cream pitchers bear the sterling silver hallmark of Master French Silversmith L. Coignet in addition to the French Government's "Head of the Minerva - 1" Hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver. The large serving tray is silver plated and is made by Christofle. It is stamped "Christofle Paris" on the underside of the handle.
