The first candelabra stands approximately 25.50 cm. tall, measures roughly 30.00 cm. across and weights 1,625 grams. It is stamped with the French Government's Head of the Mnerva-1 hallmark certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver in addition to the Henin &Cie sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark.

The second candelabra also stands approximately 25.50 cm. tall, measures roughly 30.00 cm. across and weights 1,652 grams. It is stamped with the French Government's Head of the Mnerva-1 hallmark certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver in addition to the Henin &Cie sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark.

The "Hénins" formed a veritable dynasty in the world of French Silversmiths. The goldsmiths Thomas & Hénin joined forces in October of 1861 and opened their office at 77 rue des Archives in the 3rd arrondissement in Paris. They were succeeded by the company Hénin Frères in August 1865. In 1875 the company took the name of Hénin & Cie and operated until 1891. From 1896 Hénin operated again under the name of Hénin & Co.
