This is an exceptional set of flatware serving pieces in the highly sought after Louis XVI pattern and they are in excellent condition. Each piece bears the hallmark of the French Government's Head of the Minerva - 1 Hallmark, certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver in addition to the "Henri Soufflot" manufacturer's hallmark. Henri Soufflot operated here in Paris at 89 rue de Turbigo between 1884 and 1910. This set is dated from the late 1800s and is comparable in quality to the other top French silversmiths - Odiot, Christofle, and Puiforcat (check the weights and measures below) and includes the following:
